Terms of Service

Rift AI is strictly for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use it. You are responsible for your account, keeping your sign-in secure, and all activity under it.

Rift AI is a work of fiction. Characters and their replies are generated by artificial intelligence and are simulated. They may be inaccurate, unexpected or inappropriate, and are not professional, medical, legal, financial or emotional advice. Characters are not real people and do not represent real people.

You must not create, request or share content that:

• depicts, sexualizes or involves minors, or characters described as under 18 — this is strictly prohibited;
• involves non-consensual sexual content about real people, or impersonates real individuals;
• promotes terrorism, self-harm, or real-world violence or illegal activity;
• infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy (including uploaded photos you don't have rights to).

You can flag any message. We may remove content, unpublish characters, or suspend accounts that break these rules.

You keep ownership of the characters, text and images you create. By publishing a character to the community, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute and let other users chat with it within Rift AI, and to show previews of it when shared. You can unpublish at any time.

Free accounts get unlimited messages, subject to a fair-use daily limit that resets at midnight UTC. Aura are a virtual item used inside Rift AI (for example Snapshots). Aura have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, transferred or sold, and are not refundable once used, except where required by law. Aura from refunded or disputed payments are removed.

Creator milestone rewards are paid in Aura only. We may withhold or reverse rewards obtained through fake accounts, automation or other abuse.

RiftPass is offered at $14.99 per month or $69.99 per year, as shown at checkout (plus any applicable tax). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Profile → Manage subscription; RiftPass remains active until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we don't provide partial-period refunds. We may change prices with advance notice before your next renewal.

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

You may stop using Rift AI at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Unused Aura are forfeited on termination for violations.

Rift AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may update these Terms. If changes are significant, we'll notify you in the app. Continuing to use Rift AI means you accept the updated Terms.
